Is DrivingDecoded affiliated with the Ministry of Transportation or DriveTest?
No. DrivingDecoded is an independent study platform, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, DriveTest, or the Government of Ontario. Every explanation cites the official source it's based on, but the actual G1 and M1 knowledge tests are administered by DriveTest.
Does using DrivingDecoded guarantee I’ll pass the G1 or M1 test?
No. We’d be skeptical of anything that claims otherwise. What you get instead is a transparent, topic-by-topic readiness score built from your own practice history, and explanations that trace back to the actual rule, not just an answer key.
What if I want a refund?
Yes, as long as you haven't started a mock exam or a premium practice set yet, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. The free diagnostic, reading explanations, and the two free practice sets don't affect that. Full detail on the refund policy page.
Is Premium a subscription?
No. Premium is a one-time payment of CAD 24.99 for 60 days of full access. There is no auto-renewal or cancellation. Lifetime Family is also one-time: CAD 89.99, never expires, shared across up to 4 learner seats.
How does Lifetime Family sharing work?
One purchase provisions 4 learner seats. You keep one and can generate claim links for the other 3 to share with siblings or future learners. Each claimer gets full access under their own account, with no purchase of their own.
What happens after my 60-day Premium access ends?
Your account, progress history, and readiness score stay intact. You just lose access to practice, mock exams, and the full question bank until you purchase again. The free diagnostic and topic index stay available either way.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The 5-question diagnostic is free and works for anyone, signed in or not. Signing in just lets you keep that result linked to an account instead of losing it when you close the tab.
