Correct answer: D. Yes — buses carry four red and four amber overhead lights, with a red and an amber on each side at both the front and the rear

Yes — the lights are fitted so that both directions see the same sequence. Section 175(4.1) requires every school bus registered in Ontario manufactured on or after 1 January 2005 to carry "four overhead red signal-lights and four overhead amber signal-lights mounted outside of the bus at or near the roof line", arranged as "one red signal-light and one amber signal-light on each side of the bus at the front" and "one red signal-light and one amber signal-light on each side of the bus at the rear." So the amber warning that the bus is about to stop, and the red that means stop now, reach oncoming traffic exactly as they reach following traffic. That matters because on a road without a median an oncoming driver has the same duty to stop as a following one, and needs the same notice to do it safely.
